  • Learning data: Course progress, exercise completions, flashcard review history, XP, streaks, and badges.
  • Chat data: Conversations with the AI tutoring agent, stored to provide session continuity.
  • Usage data: Page views, feature interactions, and anonymized analytics to improve the platform.
  • Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and personalize your learning experience
  • Track progress and calculate gamification metrics (XP, levels, streaks)
  • Power the AI tutoring agent with conversation context
  • Process payments and manage premium access
  • Improve the platform based on usage patterns
  • Send transactional emails (verification codes, account notifications)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and real-time services. Data stored in Supabase's infrastructure with row-level security.
  • Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Discord: Optional account linking for community features. Subject to Discord's Privacy Policy.
  • PostHog: Product analytics for understanding feature usage and conversion patterns. Data is anonymized where possible.
  • Anthropic: AI model provider for the tutoring agent. Conversations are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases with row-level security (RLS) policies. API routes require authentication. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

While we implement reasonable security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data stored on the platform
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Unlink third-party accounts (e.g., Discord) at any time

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Analytics cookies (PostHog) are used to understand platform usage. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
